Laser Drilling

The lab is equiped with a laser drilling to machine the sample chamber in pre-idented gaskets made in a rehnium or stainless-steel foil. Using a high precision rotation stage combined with a pico-second laser we can fabricate holes of 200 micrometeres down to 30 micrometers where the sample will be placed for the high-pressure experiement.
